I had to remove the resonator for my SCAB but I don't think you have to for the SCREW. If I had the choice I would've left the resonator on but put the cutout before it. There is just a slight tone difference around 2k RPM when the cutout is closed that I didn't have before.
I recently put 4.5" light cannons on my hood and holy crap they are awesome. Definitely get those . I also have whelen's in my lower grille. I don't bother with high beams anymore because they are so bright.
Oh right. I forgot when I was comparing prices before that I was looking at the regular squadrons. Well for what I need the light cannons will be plenty powerful. Time to hit up alternative offroad for some lights and brackets!
Big thanks to Kaiser for his test at TRR! For those that haven't seen it http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f81/lighting-shootout-results-33574/#post671219
So what I am seeing here is that the squadron xl's are, at the very least, measurably brighter than the 4" cannons, correct?
That output is insane! I wish I could cover my whole truck in the large light cannons. But if you were to pick the 4.5 light cannon or the squadron xl to put on your hood mounts, what would you pick and why? (for arguments sake let's say they're the same price)
I'm looking into different hood mount options for my truck and I see lots of comparisons between rigid and everyone else but one I haven't found is the 4.5" light cannon against the Baja squadron. Has anyone compared output between the two? Also, what are the differences between the squadron and...
I don't see anything on the website about the brackets yet or the X2. What are the specs for the X2 vs the X1? I'm definitely interested with the bracket design.
Ok that's good enough for me. Do you still like your choice in going with the spot configuration or do you wish you had gone with flood? I like the idea of being able to see far back with the camera but question if the quality of video is good enough to really matter.
I'm interested in joining for my '13. One question, how does the forced camera bit work? Is it the same as currently for the front but just without the 4L or locked diff requirement? And how do you activate the rear cam?
