At SPV, we are constantly thinking of ways to improve our products to not only be the highest in quality, but also to make things simple for our customers.

Since we are also customers, we often see these challenges first hand and try to overcome them.

Custom Fog Harnesses...

Challenge 1:
Factory Light Kits (Rigid, Baja Designs, etc) typically come with generic harnesses or no harness at all.

Challenge 1 Solution:
We, and many others, manufacture custom harnesses that are loomed and cut to length

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Challenge 2:
Some lights don't have plugs on them from the factory

Challenge 2 Solution 1:
Many companies offer harnesses with one plug or another. The problem is when you mix light styles or when your lights don't have plugs on them. Often times these need cut off or you need to source or replace the plug style on your lights.

Challenge 2 Solution 2:
Our NEW Universal Harnesses come with Heat Shrink Bullet Connectors that can be used with included bullet connectors on lights that don't have connectors at all (Like Radiance, Scene, 360) Or, our new Plug Packs simply plug in and you can pick from any connector style you need.

Our new Plug Packs literally are the Legos of Harnesses. Any style, Any Type, Mix and Match.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Challenge 3:
When permanently connecting your harness to your switch wires with a but connector or heat shrink, you're one and done. How often have people down the road added another light? Or ran out of switches?

Challenge 3 Solution:
With the preinstalled Bullet Connectors on the Switch Wire ends, you can simply unplug one wire and move it down. Or, combine 2 pairs into one with a pig tail connector. No more cutting those wires down to a stub... It's just that easy...

Universal Fog Brackets (Or Triple Fog Light Mounts)...

Challenge 1:

With most fog brackets out there for the 2nd gen Raptor, there are some shortfalls. In many cases the Alignment from left to right is off, or they don't come forward enough.

Challenge 1 Solution:

We, strategically measured and positioned lights in our final product to get the BEST overall position between 3 lights in the pocket. Those 3 VERTICAL slots are the MOST critical because the bumper is CURVED on the wings and you need the ability to move them back and forth.

Challenge 2:
Many bracket companies make their brackets out of sheet steel and it rusts. Others just use zinc plated bolts and they rust.

Challenge 2 Solution:
Our Brackets are all STAINLESS STEEL and so is all of our hardware.

Challenge 3:
Side to side movement. Some companies abandon the vertical slots completely for horizontal slots. Some randomly put crisscross slots on them hoping you find a good spot. Sometimes that works out, others it does not. The problem with only horizontal slots is, you get 3-4 choices... position 1, 2 or 3 or 4 in some cases. While moving side to side is possible, if you want to bring your lights as far forward as possible, you either hit the bumper and need to move back a notch, or you need to slide to the left or right because the bumper wings are CURVED. This is something that I don't think gets enough thought. If you don't know what I mean, go out to your Raptor and look at the bumper wings. Notice that it actually ROUNDS. It isn't straight. It isn't just angled from the center. It's angled AND curved. That being said, to get the best adjustment and fitment (And that means functional Adjustment and fitment) you can't have straight slots horizontally. You can, but were talking about OPTIMIZED fitment here.
So.... We have had people ask us to add a horizontal slot. We didn't want to abandon the vertical slot because it truly is the most critical. It is the key position in 90% of cases on these trucks.

So, we went back to the drawing board. Replacing the vertical slots is out of the question. We felt you lose adjustment and fit. Simply putting in one straight slot doesn't work either. As I stated earlier, the bumper curves, and it's curve accelerates as it wraps around.

Challenge 3 Solution:
We positioned many lights on our vertical slots in the best position. We then measured the angles of their position from left to right. That gave us the trajectory of the curve. From there, we designed 3 horizontal slots in the best overall position. This is USABLE movement. Not just movement. So, no random crosses. No holes, slots and dashes. No straight lines here or there.

These new brackets give you the most usable horizontal and vertical movement for your 2017+ Raptor based on math and engineering. It's as simple as that. I think you will like them.

These brackets are awesome and definitely offer more adjustment than any other, despite what others say.

Looks like this bracket kit. I would be more interested in the bases without the crossbar to just mount two lights on, like they offer with a 40” bar. I’m thinking the 40” bar may become structural without a cross bar and it wouldn’t work for just a light on either side.
