Raptor Racks

I just bought a 2019 Raptor i would like to mount a chase rack or something similar that I can put a 4500 lb winch on top for winching Elk into bed as well as other uses. I have been told because the bed is aluminum to not do it. This is what I have on my 2013 F-350.

Need advice.

I would suggest that whether you build or buy a rack make sure that it mounts directly to the frame or utilize the stock bed mounts.
I've seen rack similar to yours cracking the bed sides in less then a day of offroading.
You may not intend to do much offroad, but as you stated with the aluminum bed its not a good idea.

With my old rack I hauled 300-400 lbs thousands of miles in Baja with no problems. Currently building a new one using the SVC bypass rack as a starting point to carry 200-300 additional lbs.

I use a warn pulls-all cordless and a corded version of the same thing ( at camp where there is power) to yank game into the back of my truck and also to hang game to disect them into primals. I attach one end to bed bolt d-rings rated for 1500 lbs. for hanging game, I simply use a snatch block hung from a sturdy branch.

I know that obviously elk are quite a bit more awkward to get into the truck and the big boys get up towards 800 lbs, but the pullsall is super easy to work with and very versitile. ( I even use it to lift tree stands into trees sometimes. ) The pull ratings range from 500-1000 lbs.

I've probably yanked 50+ hogs into my superduty with the one i'm still using. Most of the hogs are usually 200-300 lbs, but I've also used them on mule deer. Nifty tool and pretty inexpensive.
