i have new wheels and tires being delivered. I will sell my stock tires as is so need I new TPMS sensors. It looks like the part number is F2GZ-1A189-A

I am confused as to which to buy. There seems to be Ford, Motorcraft and then OES which the seller claim are original equipment suppliers. They say Schrader makes them for Ford and they sell them direct cheaper. They range from $17 to $52.

I am nervous to buy cheap ones because I do not want to deal with the hassle of pulling off the wheels to and having them taken off etc if they do not work or last long. I also hate to pay $52 x 4 for the same sensors that may be available for $17

Can anyone shed some light on these sensors?

Not sure about the part number, but when I did mine there were two...and as you’d expect the Raptor needs the more expensive one LOL

Goto ebay and just search for f2gz1a189a .. you will find 4 for around $45 and they will work like the expensive OEM ones.

RaptorMd,

How did you get the 5th added to the truck? I would be very interested to know how that is done, as I always try to rotate my spare in with the other tires when possible.

I found all of these cheap ones on amazon and eBay but not sure they if they are of the same quality of the Ford ones. Or possibly exactly the same. Would hate to have to replace them in a year or so.

The sensors only send a signal when they are exposed to centrifical force so the spare will not send a signal

I bought some cheap ones from eBay 6 years ago for my 2013 and guess what? they still work to this day. No issues whatsoever.
