WTT: Applique Leadfoot Tailgate for non Applicque Tailgate

I'd like to get a non-applique tailgate. Local to central TX.

Mine is leadfoot, perfect condition, with applique, backup camera, step, spray in liner. 802A truck.

Will trade even for:

- Non-applique 2017 (no ***** stamp) with step, backup camera, perfect condition.

We'll need to remove our handles so we don't have to paint them.

Do it yourself. You can use nylon string even dental floss to cut the tape or use a heat gun but be careful not to overheat the paint.

From what I have seen the applique gate is different underneath the applique, from the standard gate. There were tabs underneath to hold the applique.

This was the second Raptor delivered to North Texas Dealers. Ordered early May 2016 delivered Jan 11, 2017.
I did not order the 66R option which was the tailgate Applique. It was optional on all three models,Base 800A Mid level 801A or the Luxury 802A package. I liked the cleaner look where the actual Raptor name is more prominent than on the charcoal black applique. The option cost was $456.00 (dealer cost) and $495.00 sticker or MSRP.

Truck also originally ordered with 61C The Carbon Fiber Package was advised in early July, if I wanted the 61C package I would have to wait until supplier fulfilled commitments to Ford so it was deleted. Anticipated elay ws four to six months.

This is my understanding. I can't remove it, else that'd be the preferred route. I can get a regular 2017 F150 tailgate, but then I'd have to sell my Rap tailgate. Trying this route first. I like my cars mostly debadged.

Good luck... still have my appliqué tailgate and swapped for the same reason; prefer the cleaner look. Inadvertent excellence on my part, scored a 2017 so no huge “F150” stamped into the bottom sheet metal.

Wanted the step too...
