So, we've got a new governor in Michigan, who has vowed to 'fix the damn roads' - but since I picked up this Raptor in January, I'm kind of enjoying driving on some of the terrible Michigan roads.

Lease was coming up on my 2016 Explorer Sport, put an order in for a 2019 raptor back in Sept. of 2018, was 8th on the list at my dealership. Jan. 2019 - still in 8th on the list. Kept an eye on inventory and saw a 2019 in-transit, called the dealership immediately - managed to go in that same day and get a deposit on it, abandoned the waiting list - and picked it up at the end of the month.

Had a few more bells and whistles than I wanted to pay for, but very happy with it so far, probably my favorite vehicle I've owned to-date.

Now, the big question was, would it fit in the garage? As you can see in the photo - just barely!

Thank you! I'm over in the GR area - went through Fox Ford nearby. Heading to the SE side this week for work on my first long drive since I picked it up, provided the weather holds!

Yeah, her "fix the damn roads" proposal looks like it'll cost us both an extra $0.45/gallon. Guess I'm glad I don't pay much attention to the cost of fuel.

Odd that a politician promised something, then when it came to deliver just wound up tossing out some half-baked plan.

Glad to see another Raptor owner in their home state!
