I'm up to 16.8 now. Haven't been trying to get economy either. I'm thinking 17.5 is achievable

What is everyone really getting? In my new 2018 S-CAB I'm averaging 15.2 so far.

Just broke 500 miles so hoping it'll go up??
It "should" go up a little over time, at least until 10k miles or so where it should even out, it could go down after a LONG time too, as the engine/transmission gets gunked up with solids and varnish.

I'm talking small increments though, the skinny pedal affects mileage more than any other factor.

I rode back 80 miles from the beach, nice and easy, cruise at 74, full tank of 93, A/C on low...17.5 was best I could do/best I have ever gotten. How in the hell are some of you getting these numbers?

2500 miles since new, 93 octane, OEM tires on OEM beadlocks, tire pressures 40 psi cold, AS/S off, 80% suburban miles (speeds in 30 to 50 MPH range), 20% highway miles (speeds in 55-70 MPH range). Trip computer says 19.2 MPG. Not sure I believe it!

Can anyone explain how the DTE (distance to empty) number is computed?

First 1K miles

So I have been pretty easy on the truck, seeing what the best I can do as far as MPG. So far best case for me is 16.5.

I tried to take it easy and actually used my PC in eco mode and the best I could do was 15!

Got a little over 15k miles and over 2k of those are with my boat hitched up. Overall average is reading 13.8. Highway driving between 75-80 without boat I get anywhere from high 14’s to low 18’s depending on wind direction. With the boat attached i get between low 8’s to almost 11.
