Ford Returns to Baja 1000 with All-New 2017 F-150 Raptor

Foutz is currently in second with little chance of catching Hall. Foutz has so far spent 5hrs & 20mins total stopped compared to Hall's 37mins. Pretty tough to overcome delays that long.

Stopped time can be anything from being stuck, broken, pits, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't all leave at the same time so aren't they racing more against the clock than actual position? I know probably just enough to get myself in trouble.

I think they send them 30-60 seconds apart and they usually start the classes in order unless a car can't make it to their start time and they are sent to the back.

He's 87.6 miles back from second and he's still moving. With that size gap he has no chance of catching up on corrected time if he started with the rest of them so his main goal now is to finish so he's probably trying to keep the truck together.

He's 142 miles from the finish now. The tracker estimates him finishing at 2:38 pst and I think the cut off time is 12 pst.

Looks like he will be 4th out of 5. It is nice to see real competition.

He only had about 100 cameras on that thing. We should be able to see everything once they upload the video. If they upload it.

The 6 hours of down time really hurt him. He finished over 4 hours behind the first stock bug and I'm not sure what the cutoff time is/was.

Well, it is fantastic that he finished. Will be good to understand what issues they had on the course.

On the bottom of the map there is a widget to replay the race. Change the class to Stock Full and hit play. The Raptor is 8117.

You will see progression of the trucks as it happened and can change the replay speeds.

Still looking forward to my Raptor, even if it didn't win! I'll just ignore the sly grins from the Hummer and Land Cruiser owners.

The fact that a stock raptor finished that course when half of the trophy trucks didn't says something. I raced it in TT Spec. It was brutal, brutal, brutal.

Great job on the finish. Also they had a ******** the back of the truck meaning they helped pull stuck racers out. That's a huge deal when you have been stuck in a silt bed for 4 hours.
