I finally got a call back from the salesman and he said the last he knew there was a delay because I ordered the new beadlock wheels and there was some delay with getting them. He promised to have the inventory manager call me back by the end of the day with more information.

I still haven't gotten a VIN or build date for my Raptor. I ordered it in June or July and according to what I've seen it was #21 order to be off the line. Can anybody help with an update? They just issued a press release the Terrain color has been delayed until 2014. I guess you'll need to pick another color sorry... What other options did you get?

Gotta love when it says this to start: "over $25k in parts and labor invested in this truck" So with the base price of that truck that person is about $70k deep for a totally non-factory-warranted truck. Trucks like these are only justifiable for those people that can't afford the real deal...

These things are in total opposition to each other. If you're not going to be doing much off-roading then these are a terrible choice. They're going to produce a ton of road noise, get bad wear, and not very good road grip. I don't mean to call you a poser but that's exactly what you're doing...

That dealer either has no clue or they're lying to you. This is a much more realistic timeline but still optimistic. Late Oct would be a really, really optimistic estimate. Nov is really the earliest you should expect it but Dec is more likely, and Jan or even Feb is possible.

They aren't available for that amount over invoice. There's too much demand. It's more like 500-1000 UNDER invoice at most places is a good deal. Maybe you can get 1500-2000 under but that's going to take a lot of searching and probably a trip out of state.
