My 2014 and my 2019 both had the finish deteriorate on the fender flares. Dealer has tried to say that I must have caused it with some chemical exposure which is not true.

You can leave only the perimeter alarm on and turn off the one inside if you don’t want the dog’s motion to set off the alarm.

I had the same issue last week. There are two plastic tabs, one on each side that push the sun shield down when closing. Both tabs broke. It was covered under warrantee but is not an expensive repair. Look in the track for the two broken plastic tabs
