    What Next??

These engines are load based. They are designed to make the same power on stock tune no matter what. The only way they gained the extra HP is if they mess with the calibration.

2020 Beadlocks and tires (brand new)

I’d be interested in the tires....

    Simple Question about Gas Type

You also need to think. Twin turbocharged 10:1 compression engine. It’s always better to run 91+ but nothing wrong with 87. As long as it’s Top Tier.

    Major Problems on Gen 2

I agree can we not create another catch can thread. There’s already hundreds. Keep your opinions to yourself. It’s the OPs truck, not yours. There is no harm not running one. I absolutely hate it when people come in here convincing them the truck won’t make it past 10k without running one. If...

    Major Problems on Gen 2

Yeah I’d remove the catch can setup and just drive the damn thing. Ford did their research. Last thing you want to do is mess with the crankcase ventilation flow. That will cause major problems. What tune are you running? You may need to do a kam reset.

Can't decide on which tune (MPT, JDM, Gearhead)

Mainly companies that keep the factory knock strategy and OAR are the ones with reputable tunes.

    Ditch the engine cover?

Removing the cover actually helps the IAT2 sensor read correctly especially idling. Many times the cover will trap heat in and cause the IAT2 to read higher than usual. Nothing wrong with that at all. You’ll just notice the iat will read lower without it.

Rough idle with auto start/stop disabled and A/C on

It’s quite normal. It’s just the nature of the ecoboost. It gets better with higher quality fuel.

JLT Oil Separator Quest -- No Oil Residue

There’s nothing wrong with running a single valve. Yes a dual valve will catch more but not everyone tracks or races their raptor. So for the average casual daily driver, single valve is perfect for them. Or be like many people and stick stock. Some will catch more than others but there’s many...

    Is Cobb TCM worth it?

The ORA tune is VERY refined. Always in the right gear and power when you need it. Best part is the truck is never lugged. Both are exceptional tunes but I personally went with ORA since I worked with gearhead in the past on many vehicles. Both tunes have had in-depth work done to them to...

Intake Charge Temps and Intake Air Temps

During light cruising or idle is when your IAT2 temps will be the highest as the throttle body isn’t open to allow air to flow thru the intercooler. Completely normal.

    Intake vs. Filter?

I also highly recommend staying with the stock filter if off-roading. It will filter the best and is cheap to change. Not a lot of people know that the stock motorcraft filter is in fact ever so slightly oiled.

GEN 2 Engine casting - please tell me this is normal

Normal. If the “cracks” are above the surface then it was from molding.

    SCT Tune

They are currently working on it and should be done with it very soon. They do quite a bit of testing ensuring the tune works in all environments like stock without sacrificing reliability and drivability.
