Guy in this thread recommended Mike Naughton in Aurora. About the same distance for me as fcukin Groove so I'll give them a shot next time. Groove is so **** poor.. I could fill 2 pages with my complaints about them but no one really wants to hear it.

I never did the vta mod to my factory bov, so I don't have a comparison. I will say that it is pretty loud when I've built boost about half way on the boost gauge and promptly let off the throttle. I can hear it clearly with the windows up, with window down it's rather loud and sounds like...

I know you know this, but you paid US dollars for a US truck in a US territory. I would pour through your purchase paperwork and find anything that says Ford doesn't have to honor the warranty under these conditions. Is their fine print somewhere to that effect? Not a good look for fomoco...

It is definitely not 15 mins. It will take an hour if you've messed with the IC before. It might take 2 hours if you haven't. It's difficult getting a socket on those worm clamps up in there.

The aftermarket valve will hold more boost than the stock valve, so if you're running a tune, that is one point of possible failure. You won't see any performance gain unless you were leaking boost. The new valve is solid metal compared to the plastic OEM valve fwiw. If you just want sound...
