Update... Got it towed from first dealership to a second one. Second one identified that the cams should not have been the route to take(didnt matter and will be hard to make a case)... Investigated and found busted piston inside cylinder 6... Replaced Long Block, both Turbos, Exhaust Manifolds...

Also, I have had the oil pan replaced twice in the history of the vehicle so that very may well be an underlying cause for an issue as well, after you mentioned it.

I am going to get a written statement of their diagnosis and quote of the work they determined it needs and take it from there. As it stands, the last "chapter" of this ordeal was over the phone so i am in a ****** up position momentarily.

Also with it being only 1 week out from the new phasers, after breaking down and opening the engine bay the coolant was low which was abnormal as little as I know looking at the engine.

The phasers cost $5k. they drove <500 miles after being replaced before the truck died on highway while accelerating. they told me it has nothing to do with the new phasers. but to get the truck back on the road it needs a long block at my cost.
