Just got my truck back. All done and back on the road. No other major issue were found. I’ll have to change the brakes and the 4wheel drive actuator soon.

I just had that issue with mine and mine was the wire harness. It got burnt when it touched the manifold.

I hope no one has to find out hahah. But lesson learned. At least it’s a somewhat cheap lesson. I’ll keep an eye on that part going forward. Might do what you did and reroute it when I get my truck back

Hopefully I’ll get it back in the next few days and no more issue. I love the truck. Been dependable for the most part. So much that I barely drive my Tacoma since I have so much more space.

Dealership said wire hardness need to be changed. 702.00 is the cost to replace. Let’s hope that’s it.

I decided to take it to the dealership and see what the issue might be. I tried everything I could. Jumped starter, jumping battery, new battery, changing relays and fuses. Nothing. At this point, I’ll get ready to be ***** by the dealership. Ran the code again today and only p1636 showed...

Just went to turn the crank case. It still turn so engine isn’t locked.

That’s what I’m afraid of. I rather replace an ecu than the engine itself

No forscan. I saw the check engine lights on and it stutter. First codes were saying throttle control. Got it home ans tried it again. This time those two codes are on. Tested battery and it’s still good. Just removed it now and going to let it sit for while and see what happened.

So last night I was driving home and all of a sudden I lost power to the truck. It won’t accelerate so I pulled over and shut it off. Now it won’t start. It won’t even turn over. Code read p1636 and u0422. Tried to jump it, nope. Fuse 27 has been done. Checked it anyways and still good. Tried...
