Glad to hear it! Make sure to mark "Going" on the Facebook event tab so I can get an accurate headcount. We will be using VHF frequency. Baofeng UV-5R is a good handheld radio. If you're looking for something more permanent, ICOM or TYT make some great radios as well. PM me with any questions.

Simplicity. Don't want to deal with teaching new users how to program their radios, etc. I personally have a ICOM 2730A installed but I'll pick up a UHF unit since I also use that frequency often.

I'm at 110k with my 2013. Has been a southern truck all of its life (Texas). Good condition, no surface rust, the tips are a little bent from touching them on a trail. Should hammer out fairly straight though, or throw some gloss black tips on it. Let me know on the headers.
