I just received my kit today and was wondering the same thing. The directions say to pull the shocks for installation. Has anyone done these without pulling the shocks?
Jeez. I am still just showing 'built' on 11-23 and awaiting shipment. Mine is a stock order, so I am looking via the order number and VIN. Dealer says it will be here on Dec 16th. I hope they know something I don't!
Well said! It's easy to get caught up in this game. In the end, it doesn't really matter. It's just a truck; if I don't like it I can easily move on. FWIW, I also looked at the AT4X. When I first pulled up, I just about mistook it for a Colorado. I don't know what size tires they put on those...
Exactly! Part of me want to say EFF it and order an X7 just to get the features and service, but where's the fun in that? The X7s blend into the background. I think the Raptor is the way way go, it's just too bad that Ford can't get it all the way over the goal line.
Yup. I took a Capstone out for a test drive a while back. The thing was a complete LOW RIDER and didn't sound good. The headlights sucked too. The interior was definitely nicer than the Raptor IMHO.
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I really like the Raptor, just wanted to get a feel for how pervasive some of the 'known issues' are. I'm sure that once I see it in person, I'll be writing the check.
I have an inbound '23 with the 37 PP coming soon at MSRP. It's already been built and awaiting shipment. That's the easy part. In anticipation of the truck, I have been pouring over the posts on this forum (good, bad, and ugly) over the past few months. We all know that people with issues always...
Sweet. Thanks for the share. I like the black wheels. Subtle, but different. I really wanted the Azure Gray Metallic, but this deal fell into my lap at MSRP. Also, hoping to get it in tax year 2022!
Agate Black 37 here. Built on 11.23, still waiting for shipping. I can't see if it's moved since it was built. Dealer still says that they're showing an ETA of 12.13 to 12.19.
Funny, I saw that ad today and thought the same thing to myself. Still waiting on my 2023 PP to get delivered, but I'm having misgivings. The heated wheel in my Ram Limited works great...
