ALL off-road type tires (AT or MT) will make more and more sound with wear, regardless of the compound. Just watch the tread wear. It is part of the Raptor experience.
You can't fix stupid and ludicrous but at the end of your carnage, you might be able to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. I street raced as a younger adult, but back then it was 1/8th to 1/4 mile drag racing, not this insanely stupid lack of intelligence. JMO
I have been using EBC slotted rotors with green stuff pads for years and they work great at a reasonable cost. I have had cars in the past with such kits as StopTech, etc that were ridiculous money. I personally didn't feel it was worth the expense.
EBC has a nice upgrade package that won't...
There has been a lot of these thefts in TX. I keep my Gen 1 locked and in the garage, but I did get a tip from the police that if the tailgate comes off in the traditional fashion by rotating it back and pulling up on PS to disengage it from the hinge than use a 2" hose clamp and feed it around...
Get a 2" hose clamp and undo it completely. Feed it around the passenger side lug of the hinge and tighten down the clamp. This will prevent the tailgate from coming out of the Key when rotated.
Greetings everyone who loves these trucks.
I have had this truck since brand new and still love it. I just clicked over 81K on an early Gen 1 6.2L supercab. It has all the factory suspension still intact.
What I have noticed recently at slow speeds (like pulling into and out of the driveway)...
I have ADD bumpers on my 2010 Gen 1 and have had zero issues as they are powder coated. I do have some minor chips from offroad and the rear from a concrete pillar. The bumpers are built to be strong. Chipping is cosmetic wear and tear. I have used Duplicolor spray bed liner and a household...
New truck all the way. Will the new engine be numbers matching to the Vins on the balance of the components???
I have a very first Gen 1 6.2L without emblems that I am considering parking for the investment value and looking into a new one. This string does not give me confidence....

I forgot to answer a couple of your questions.
Engine ck light works. There are no DTCs or pending DTC's showing which is why it has everyone perplexed.
I have asked if something changed with TX over the past year and I have been told NO. In TX you can pass with ONE "not ready" but not...
MTF,
Thanks for the intel brother. I agree with you and the dealer... Its a sad state of affairs as this in the past has been a pretty good dealer.
First time I have heard about the upper harness failure which might be why it took almost 80k on the clock to reach a non-passing point. I...
Ok members I have seen a lot of good intel on this forum to help with issues. I am hoping to pick up some insights to TWO issues that I am having before I lose it and go postal on SPF here in Plano, TX.
I have a Gen 1 (2010) 6.2L with just under 80K on the clock. I purchased this truck brand...
I am having a similar issue with a Ford dealer in Plano TX. I had my truck in for "Not ready" heated & non-heated O2 sensors as my truck has always had LTH & HFC's with exhaust, intake and tune. For some reason, this year when I put it back to stock tune the sensors don't want to reset so I...
