I guess your skid plate isn't as concave as mine. I would love to see some pictures. Did you use the Aux switches to control the compressor? Are the relays big enough for a compressor?
This is my next mod.

Just got back from Silver Lake. The Raptor did great once I let enough air out. I had to go to 15 in the front and 13 in the rear. It still did not climb test hill as good as the Av but it sure was fun to do 50-60 across the dunes! Spent the day cleaning her back up.
Looks great! That’s what I tried to make. I could not get the tow hook bolts back up into the holes and did not have the time to remove the skid plate for more room underneath. I ended up just putting it on the end of the tow hook.
I have no idea why I am getting better mileage but I am not complaining. The trip mileage includes a run in with a FX4 this morning. I drive 50 miles on state roads (60mph) and 12 miles on the highway (70mph) one way to work. There are 3 towns with 2-5 lights each on the commute so I have...
Thanks! I most likely will look into a HID upgrade for now. Did a search for Ducati. Those lights look great!
What about the Bedrug from ??Morrie?? It looks like quite a few of you have it. Good investment? My son already “scratched” the tail gate with the plastic cooler.

I heard of others having that same issue. They had to locktite the allen screws in.
I have had my QTP on my Avalanche for 3 years in Michigan winters and it is still working. I plan on adding one to the Raptor.
Ok weak was not the right word. The lows work great, the highs work great but after coming from a truck with all 6 on for highs, I have been spoiled. Besides I can tell the wife it is a safety issue so I HAVE to get a light bar. Now to convince her not having a train horn is a safety issue.........
Thank you for all the welcomes!
First the mileage isn’t as bad as you all make it out to be. I got 17.8 on my 63 mile commute to work this morning. I am averaging 16.1 for the first 600 miles. That includes driving in 4 & 5 to vary the RPMs. This morning I got into it getting on the...
Stopping by to say Hi! I have driven Chevy Avalanches for the past 10 years or so. I just picked up my Raptor last Thursday. I have 400 miles on it already! Love the truck! Still breaking it in but we hit some back roads up north this past weekend. The faster you go the smoother it is. I...
I am VERY new to the raptor. Is the reason you do not run say 11-13 (cold) is because of rolling a bead or because of compression issues from driving harder with a better suspension? I have run 11 in the rear and 13 in the front for years at Silver Lake with no problems.
I pick up my 2012 screw tomorrow night. We are going over to Silver Lake June 27th –July 1st. I too am looking for a way to mount a flag on the front. I have a front receiver on my Avalanche that I use for the flag mount.
PS: we are planning, weather permitting, to have the 100ft red...
