    ONE YEAR OF OWNERSHIP

The interior, the exhaust and the newer tech(screen) are the main improvements. I put out a couple of videos on my likes and dislikes. our 19' was still an awesome truck, only reason we went with the gen 3 is because our 19' was awaiting cam phaser repair when 1 or 2 gen 3 allotments came in.

1 Year with our Gen 3

Thanks! I did some previous videos on the features and my thoughts on those and installation of a set of RokBlokz. Maintenance hasn't really been much other than oil and filter replacement. I may do some videos on how to do the diff/transfer case fluid changes.

    ONE YEAR OF OWNERSHIP

Ours has been one hell of a truck! Sept 14th marked a year for us. 23.5k miles later with lots of use. Really glad we went to the gen 3 from our gen 2.

Thought I'd put together a video with some of my thoughts on our Raptor, Raptors going forward as well as the R model. Pretty lengthy video, but there was a lot to talk about.

You download it. There's a trial license you can request that expires every few months. You'll also need an OBD hookup. Lots of info here and the F-150 forums as well as YouTube.

Enabling this option using Forscan helped tremendously with getting flashed. Still get cflashed from tiem to time, but not nearly as much as prior. Overall lighting on backroads seems better too.

    Towing ability…definitely impressed

THIS! I had that thought of backing in, but didn't want all the weight in the rear of the trailer knowing that would make for a dangerous trip. Absolutely no load adjustment with these trailers either. That said, it pulled super smooth. Really no complaints other than some wiring issues with the...

I thought of that, but didn't want all the weight in the rear. These trailers don't allow for any load adjustment unfortunately.

That's quite the load too! We haul our 19.5 foot boat all the time and these trucks just squat with the soft suspension.

I had thought about loading the truck ass first, but didn't want all my weight in the back of the trailer. There's absolutely no load adjustment with these trailers, just strap and go.

I set my cruise around 65-66. I got up to 70 or so a few times and it felt fine. Really was a smooth ride.

This! I made the trip down and had reserved a trailer prior to my trip. This one had all sorts of wiring issues, but hauled smoothly.
