I have also run into this, and I've shaved off some of the front bracket with a bench grinder, think I need to hit it some more though. That front bumper really flexes. Some of the sound though is the actual outboard light tapping the bumper. It's actaully a little too big for that opening.
Java, How secure was it with just the bracket bolted on? I've got the WeatherTech mats and don't really feel like cutting into them to mount the floor screws just yet.
I'm on the gulf coast where it is flat as can be. Seems that the most offroading I will get will be on the beach at Padre Island or National Seashore. That being said, what's the best beach tire people have found? I've read AT's are best, and I'm not going to run paddles. Any ideas?
