I have had very good luck with the extended warranty coverage from ford over the years. I have had it on cars that are not cheap to fix '03 cobra, shelby gt350, and now the raptor. The amount of money, time and parts Ford spent to to fix some hard to diagnose issues over the years was much more...
Honestly, I got used to it with my old 2003 terminator. It was so bad with that car that a guy swore my cobra was fake lol. I had to educate his ignorant a**. The ford grill doesn’t bother me as much as when they add the 5 lights for wide vehicles..especially on little Tacomas .
Why are some of you equating HP to sales? It’s the whole package. I don’t believe a TRX will come close
To Raptor sales unless they are much lower MSRP.
I take my shelby to Morgan hill ford store. Based on how well they have handled some TSB’s and warranty
Issues, I will be taking my raptor there. They are a bit further than Capitol ford for me, but I avoid Capitol after they said they wouldn’t be able to do a recall until 6 mos out.
Unless there are dyno numbers , it’s all opinion. I had a forced induction car dynoed same day with and without a CAI and got 21 hp at wheels. It all depends on the car, how restrictive the factory box is, factory tuning flexibility, erc..
I cp’d My 17 Shelby 18 mos ago (gold package). It still looks like new, cleans easily, and wicks away water. I will likely do my raptor soon. I highly recommend it, just make sure the detailer knows what they are doing with paint correction .
