I’d look for any damage to the underside of the bed or frame from them prying with a bar or to get the tire down to cut the cable. I’m still not sure how they could get at the cable but thieves and crackheads are crafty.

Thieves should be shot, period. Why do you need a Raptor wheel for a spare? Any old F-150 wheel with the correct bolt pattern and tire size will work. It's just for temporary use anyway.

Just look for damage to the brake lines and wheel sensors on the rear end housing and wheel hubs, just in case they had there feet up there pushing on stuff for leverage. Hopefully nothing.
Thanks. Took a look and it’s hard for me to tell if there’s any damage here. I may just take to the dealer for them to assess.

Looks like there was def some prying going on....not sure if that’s going to affect reinstalling the winch that holds the tire in place....

Thieves enrage me ... my thought is that this was targeted strictly for the potential monetary value. This will make them an easy $400.

I’m not a tough guy nor do I pretend to be....but there would have been fireworks had I caught them in the act...

Oh man that’s such a bummer, sorry to hear this. Good luck, I wonder if you can check a scrap yard or if any of the parts are interchangeable with a regular F-150. On a similar note, I once got rear ended in my old car and apparently the repair shop or someone took out my full spare tire and switched it with a donut. I never noticed, until I sold the car years later.

Maybe some high school kid with a regular F-150 wanting Raptor wheels. Just needs 3 more victims.

What I meant was, if I was the victim, I wouldn't replace it with a Raptor wheel. Why spend the extra money on something that you likely will never use, and if you do, it's only temporary.

Well, cuz the idea with a raptor is you could be out in the desert, or offroad somewhere where you don't want to be stuck with some POS wheel/tire?
