My raptor is brand new. When I swing the tailgate down it makes a pretty nasty squeak. I was looking at the corner hinges and they look different. The right side almost looks broken, but I can’t quite tell? When comparing the left corner to the right corner, do these pics look normal? If so, I assume a little WD-40 ought to take care of the squeak, right?

I wouldn't use WD-40. It's not designed to be a lubricant and it's way too thin. Lithium grease.

This^, no WD-40 for lube. Lithium or a thin coating of waterproof bearing grease also works well. I agree with what another poster said, that it will attract some dirt. It will, but that will take a long time even if you are constantly in and out of your tailgate. Just wipe it clean and re-lube every few months if you are driving in very dirty areas.
