Came across the Diode Dynamics fog light bars (https://www.diodedynamics.com/2017-2019-ford-raptor-sae-dot-led-lightbar-kit.html). I like the look better than the set of 3 pods I see on most trucks. To me these look a little more factory, which I like. Looking to know how people like theirs.

How's the color temp compared to the factory headlights (hoping it's the same or very close)?

How much more light to these throw? I'm planning on getting the driving pattern, not the fog pattern, and am looking to them as an enhancement to headlights/high beams.

@NHDude4 Diode Dynamics is a local company to me. Their entire operation is one office park over from where I work. Been using their bulbs since 2015 on my Mustang and on my Audi. Had one issue with a switch back marker bulb on the mustang and they were so easy to deal with and took care of me.

I have had the fog lights you are looking at for about 14 months now (about 20k miles). They still work and look as bright as day one. The install is a little finicky. In an effort to be as universal as possible, the bracket has a lot of adjustment built into it. So it can take some time to get them aimed properly. But they throw tons of light and look good.

Thanks for the feedback! I gathered that about aiming them from the install videos I watched. Seems like a pain but you do it once and it's done. How does the color/tint compare to the factory headlights? I don't care for after market LEDs that are overly blue. The factory headlights are a nice white.

color seems spot on...they are white...not blue, not yellow.

I only use them in heavy rain, or when i am alone on the road. Even with them being properly aimed, they are too bright to have on with other cars coming at you. They are great off road.

So we stock Diode Dynamics, and have these bars in stock. My honest opinion? Not one of their better products. I've not been happy with that Stage Series light bars. It's just like any standard light bar you see out there, only now they have kits to put them in the fogs. They are good if you are on a budget, as you get a fog setup for pretty cheap. BUT the mounting system isn't the best, as pointed out above. It's finicky and not made of the best materials (bends easily too). It'll do the job if you want to fill that space on a budget.

You have 2 styles to choose from

1 single 6" bar per side: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-dynamics-2017-ford-raptor-ss6-led-fog-lightbar-kit/
1 12" bar per side: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-dynamics-2017-ford-raptor-ss12-led-fog-lightbar-kit/

For $280/$420 for a complete setup, it's not bad. It'll give you some light but if you're going to spend the money, I'd suggest paying a little more for maybe a better kit with more options.

With that said, if you are interested in them let me know... I'd love to move them off my shelf lol. I wish they sold better but with all the other options out there, they are just not one of the GO TO styles. BUT if it's for you, it's for you. Me personally, I like the pod look in my bumper.

Hope that helps you decide. Just trying to be honest here. I like their Stage Series 3" pods better then their Stage Series LED bars in the fogs if you want to stick with Diode Dynamics (http://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-diode-dynamics-stage-series-3/)

Interesting. Any recommendations for something better if I don't like the 3-pod look?

Well if you are not looking for a 3 pod solution, M&R Lighting has a setup for you. It's not quite a pod system, not quite a light bar. A little in between:

https://mandronline.com/products/20...ght-kit-200w-bumper-light-kit-lighting-system

Another option is to take our Fog Light Bracket and install your own light bar of choosing. Shoot me a PM about our fog light brackets that can take a small light bar (like a 10" s8")

I have been very intrigued by Diode Dynamics. This guy put up an amateur video on YouTube I found. I personally like what I see with their pod light line up.

For fogs, I would consider the DD in flood for the fog light. Or, the BD S1’s in wide cornering. I like the DD color temp and their output/ price present a good value.

We do offer a triple fog kit with Stage Series 3" - They are not too shabby. They exceeded my expectations I'll give them that. I'm still a diehard Baja fan though but if you want a solid kit and save some cash, you have options: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-diode-dynamics-stage-series-3/
