Sorry about your truck!
A guy at my gym hit a moose with his Tundra.
The truck was totaled. Wife had a concussion.
Glad you are OK.

The deer in your area have become domesticated/urbanized. Happens when there are people living in the area. Here in Southern Oregon, the deer are as skittish as they ought to be...well except for the cities of Ashland and Jacksonville which are populated by progressives that feed them.

LMAO....
"progressives"... is that the politically correct way of saying they are A-Holes..?? Sorry, being from NYC area,we were never taught to be Politically correct...LOL...
Yep..I got a few of the A-Holes up the road from me...hence my Tacoma getting wiped out 2 times.>!!

So,crazy question, and not sure I'd even want them on front of Raptor...but years ago when I had my Ford Ranger Edge I put a pair of those little Deer Alerts on front bumper...not sure what they call them, but small black plastic, suppose to Whistle as your driving...NEVER even seen a deer when I had them on....and then get a Tacoma, didnt have them, and get hit 2x's....either they really work,or the Deer really have gotten bad over the years....We need more Venison Eaters..>!!

Back in the summer I saw a doe kick the shit out of a boxer. The dog was just standing there and the doe felt threatened because her fawn was near. The poor dog hasn’t been the same since.

When I moved out here from NY 30 years ago I was driving home one night and saw one laying down in the road (dead??)
Now I warn anyone reading this,do not continue if your drinking a beer.....
Being a stupid city boy and not knowing much about Deer,I figured I'd get out and pull it to side of road so no one ran over it or swerved into ditch to avoid....I grabbed the back leg and the F*#& er was still alive and went to kick me....
POOR ME has never been the same..!!

Those deer whistles don't work. But, 'progressives' or city slickers still buy 'em. In Oregon now, road kill can be taken for food, but only by the 'hitter', no one else.

HAHAHAHAHA....thanks for the good info..!!! And ya know,I had them when I was still a city slicker/wanna be country boy...so your 100% correct...but after 30+ years here, cant I be a country boy now....LOL...but too funny...I can see those city slickers putting them on and never hitting a deer, cause there are no deer in the city..
So,again..thanks...saved me $20 bucks and all the Raptor guys laughing at me.....!o_O

Same here in WA...and no worries...not gonna see me trying to drag a deer off the road again...! Live and learn....When I want one I'll shoot it in my backyard... I've seen hunters in Camo walking up and down our road in search of Deer, look out my back window and there are 4-5-6 are sleeping (hiding) behind my house.....Funny sight for sure...!
