Suggestions near reno? GPS routes?

Curious about info on trails near reno...headed there this weekend and would love to find some good trails.

Santa Cruz ca... I figure most of that area has snow, but looking for some desert driving around there for a long weekend trip

I'm out of Vegas and I don't spend a lot of time in the Reno area. I spend most of my time south. In Mineral and Esmeralda counties mostly south of Hawthorne. There are incredible offroading opportunities there. Here are some pics from a trip I made in December with some Jeep buddies from Cali.
