Given this is only your second post i am thinking your husband is out on travel with his in truck just sitting around with all of those costly MODs that could have been spent on you and your thinking of selling it. ouch...

No. Just wondering. Love that truck as much as my husband does.

Your husband is not crazy of what he said, he is right. But he is crazy that he wants to sell it, or does he????

And that sir is why my Raptor is only in my name.

Thanks to everyone who kindly responded to my post. To those who didn't: I am truly sorry but I thought I was on Raptor Forum where I could get info. How in the world did Topix get on this site. Maybe I can find the real Raptor Forum web site. I'll just keep searching.

@kimco - don't let these yahoos scare you away. Most of these guys are regulars here and have a lot of jokes.
It's all in fun.

As for how well the Raptor holds its value, it does very well. Some guys are selling their truck for about the same price as they bought it.
Now with the 2017 Raptor coming out, there is debate add to weather the first generation Raptor will go up or down in price. But overall, there will always be a demand for the first gen raptor. And they aren't making any more if them. They are extinct. Lol....

Stick around have fun. Let's see a few pics of this beauty.

^ that's a good point. Personally, as much as I know some of you refuse to believe it, the values will decrease when the new one releases. The sad truth is that the 90% of Raptors we don't hear about are going to trade up for the new toy. That will flood the market with used gen 1s and decrease the value. The only saving grace is that demand will likely not go down, hopefully preserving some of the value we're seeing now. Fact is, there are very very very few vehicles with resale like the Raptor has. If selling is even a blip on the radar, I wouldn't gamble and wait.

I sure hope you're right. I'm wanting to get into a Raptor late next year but I'm pretty sure the 17 is out of my price range so I'll be looking for a low mile 13 or 14. I currently have a 2008 GT500 that I bought in 2010 with 9,000 miles and the value has decreased every year since the newer ones keep adding horsepower and more amenities.
