You have to take into account customer service. I have every kit M and R offer. Customer service was second to none, the kits were as advertised and they returned my phone calls and emails. Plus I just ordered their 8 pack.

Probably hard to tell in the photo, but it's a lot brighter in person. Just a lot more concentrated

I don't know how the acquisition went down monetarily but Bulldog says that they merged. Both the Bulldog Lighting and KC Hilites brands are functioning.
