Lowrance Elite 7m Baja and Point-1 help

Is anyone else running this setup? If you could check something for me, I'd appreciate it. i don't think mine is working perfectly.

When I select the Point-1 for my gps antenna and heading functions, I only get 1 blue bar in the satellites page (when I use the internal antenna, I get 7-8)

Also if you go to the point-1 settings under device list, my update rate is stuck at 1hz. It won't give me an option for 5hz or 10hz. Is this a limitation of the Elite 7m?

Despite these issues, the Point-1 is giving me better performance. It acquires my location quickly and my position accuracy is usually around 9-13 feet.

I'am not sure how to change the hz, but I do know of you mount it to close to the vhf it can have signal issues. That might be your one bar issue. They recommend 6ft from all antennas.
