this is my story today
I purchased a 2010 6.2L Raptor nice truck great price about two months ago, truck has 87K. I noticed the back kicked like a donkey and the front hopped like a bunny rabbit. I decoded to change the shocks, OM the shocks were complety blown in need of repair badly, I picked up a set all four OEM 2.5 fox for 2100 new. Got them installed and the front set a mid perch. I was doubting the mid perch but what the hell went for it. OMG the truck rides AWSOME!!!!!! Factory should of put it on mid perch, no hard ride what so ever. i installed the rears and had 4 Wheel auto do the front with alignment cost me 360 bucks. Did I mention the truck is now level. But these trucks are amazing.
So now
I am thinking of rebuilding the old ones and selling them or
selling them as is. they look pretty good after I cleaned them up but the seals are obvious leaking in two of them. what can i get for them rebuilt and as is? or maybe trade something for them.
Also the sunroof track guides were broken I fixed those. Damn that a little bit of a job very time consuming took me about 4 hours.
Here is a photo of my truck before the new shocks.
Yes thats my 2016 Camaro SS. I have had it 9 months and only put 4K miles on it, now sence i got the raptor I have not drove or started it in over a month. me and my 17 Y/O boy fight to drive the truck.
