Some do sure but very far from a lot - this isn't normal and up to the owner if its acceptable

I've walked from 4 F150s with undercarriage surface rust - my others are like Jake's pictures after multiple NE winters

Did you spray your axle with black paint prior to Amsoil? Looks great! Also did you use the Amsoil on the raw metal rotating parts like the half shafts, U-joints l, etc?

I know it's just cosmetic and won't hurt the truck but I'd argue a brand new $70K truck shouldn't have ANY rust.
