Another Nav question

Just FYI it's a 2014

Sometimes when I select the Nav, my location indicator is off to the right or left of the road I'm on causing the Nav to "recalculating" could my above the windshield light bar be interfering with it? Or do I just need an update?
It's happening on major roadways so I know it's not an issue with back roads.

Not sure on that, seen it happen every once in a while. There has been an update by Ford and for NAV maps the A6 just came out. I assume you have A4. I got the A6 on Amazon for $68
