Arkansas Raptor Diamond Dash featuring Night Raptor Tactical and RSIworks

This run is already filled by registered participants. We will be accepting a few people on a wait list in the event that a spot becomes available. Please contact @RaptorWifey, @Yukon Joe, or @Huck, if interested.
Active duty military are given preferential treatment.
The Ouachita National Forest is a vast wonderland of breathtaking scenery and a haven for outdoor recreation of all kinds.
The mountains, streams, rivers and lakes that surround the forest are a dream setting for the many activities available to visitors.

Be sure to bring a bathing suit for a stop at the swimming hole.
The Arkansas Raptor Diamond Dash is a late summer Raptor Run. Unfortunately we can only take 12 Raptors. Here are some of the particulars:
Who – 15 Ford Raptors who have the will to traverse some of the most scenic landscape offered by the Ouachita National Forest
What – Arkansas Raptor Diamond Dash – A run for fun. The adventure will take us on forest service roads, through rocky technical trails, over creek crossings and include some of the most scenic views of the Boston Mountain Range. Pre-running this will not be possible and the majority of the trails taken will be an “adventure”. So a great attitude is a must on this trip.
When – August 15 – 17, 2014 (Check in Friday evening)
Where – Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfeesboro Arkansas and the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs, AR.
Why – Night Raptor Runs are some of the most talked about runs for ages to come. You don’t want to miss it.
Note: This run is for fun and not for profit. Participation costs were estimated as accurately as possible. While we do not anticipate any excess funds, any remaining money will be donated to either the National Forest or National Park who maintain the forest service roads.
Required Gear -
•5 Gallons of extra fuel
•Recovery rope / strap – Rated for your vehicle AT LEAST 20 FEET
•(2) D-rings / shackles
•Spare Tire/repair kit
•Due to the adventure style of this run, radio communications will be required. VHF Radio Capable of two-way communications on the following MURS frequencies:

•Trail snacks / drinks (lunch provided both trail days)
•Diamond Digging Equipment
We are pleased to announce that Night Raptor Tactical www.nightraptortactical.com
And RSiWorks www.RSiWorksllc.com
will be in attendance on this run.
If you plan on digging for diamonds on Friday, we plan on being at the Craters of Diamonds State Park around noon. Please let us know if you’re going to join us.
