HOWTO: Take out the rear seat in a SCAB

Required tools:



* A long screwdriver - I normally use one of these: 2 Piece 16" Go Thru Screwdriver Set





1) With the seat folded down (as if to sit on it) locate the metal loop that sticks out on top of the cushion.


2) lift up the back seat cushion and locate the metal plate with a hole in it just to the outside of (in terms of truck it is outside the plate on both sides of the bench) the vertical metal plate running into the seat back.



3) Insert the screwdriver into the hole and push back against the spring clip and then lift the seat back up slightly, if you lift too high you will make it harder to release the other side.



4) Repeat on the other side of the bench.

Way to make it look easy, guess ill be cursing that seat out again tomorrow lol

Thanks Dude. Noah stopped by on his way to Tx and showed me the way to reach around the back and do it, but my paws are a bit large to get back there. They felt like Hamburger when I was done trying it.
