Xpel over decals

Anyone got either Xpel stealth or ultimate done over their decals?

I recall seeing a ‘19 in ford performance blue which had stealth over everything. Looked pretty slick.

I had a guy who wrapped (not to well I might add) my ‘18 leadfoot with no decals, and he said he can’t wrap @XPEL over the factory decals without it looking terrible.

I had the shop remove the decals when I did the Xpel Stealth. With the graphic change on the '19's the graphics now have some kind of rubbery texture to them. I had (and so did the shop) doubts that the Xpel would stick properly over the decals.

The decals are matte anyway, so you're not going to notice much of a change. If you really want the graphics, I'd remove the factory ones, XPEL your truck, and then spend the ~$200 or so dollars to buy the replacement graphics from Rocky Mountain Graphics.
