The nature of the 6.2l is a little bit of a jackhammer noise at full throttle, but its not going to be as compressed and intense as it is with the chambered outlaws. The noise thing has a ton of factors: How much pipe is after the headers, where the muffler is in the system, where the outlets are, how many turns and what ° they are. One of the more critical things is where the exhaust exits in relationship to the driver, and what angle it leaves the truck. If you have downturns under the cab its always going to be loud inside since your reverbing off the asphalt right into the truck. I ran both of those mufflers on my supercharged mustang at one time or another, the larger case was much nicer on the highway and in general conditions, the smaller case was fun for a while but the noise would wear you out on a long drive. Both of them were better than super 10's to live with. If you really want to get rid of that jackhammer noise mufflers like Kooks ko300 will get rid of most of it, but they kill a lot of character, a lot of higher end import mufflers are this way. Generally the longer the muffler the smoother the tone is going to be, it will also be quieter.
