[QUOTE="mpk1996, post: 1366084, member: 10440"] Ok finally had time to do the trans flush. I installed the B&M dip stick and larger cooler while I was at it. I picked up the cooler for $98 plus shipping, so that was a no brainer. The dip stick did make it nice not having to pump fluid in. I got a new filter and gasket from one of the online ford parts places. And Amsoil ATF. I bought 2 2.5 gal jugs since I wasn't sure how much it was going to take with the flush. I ended up using only about 3 gal. So I have a bunch left over for next time. overall it was pretty easy. a little tough to get the back bolts out of the pan. but not too bad. the AN fitting to get the hose lined up after installing the fitting in the trans for the dip stick was a bit of a pain. AN fittings have to be very straight to thread on. But other than that, it was pretty easy. shifts fine. only took it out for a quick spin in the neighborhood to make sure everything worked. i'll go out later once it stops raining for a better test drive.
