Strange compressor sound

I just started having a sound inside the truck that sounds like a small air compressor. It only seems to happen at first start up or if I am idling for long periods. It does not change if I rev the engine or if I go into neutral. It sounds like it is coming from the front drivers side, but I cant hear it when I am outside the truck. And it does not happen all the time. I search the wastegate issues and mine does not seem to sound like those. Any thoughts? Truck is 2020 with 49,000 miles and stock except for lights.
