If the truck was stock i would definitely go that route, but i'm talking about boosted, making 600 rwhp ... reliably!! I will not be driving it like an *******, but i do want to use that power from time to time. The warranty from a dealer on a crate engine doesn't entice me that much. I feel like because its boosted/modified ,they would tell me to get lost if i blew the motor. I know they would find a way around it. MTF, I totally understand that, but if the parts are not actually designed by the factory to support that much power, then you are still dealing with a time bomb. I'm going to drive this truck a long time and want it to LAST! That also being said, do you feel that a company like Livernois has inferior build quality to Ford (I've heard Caterpillar reman's all of ford's engines..... any truth to that?)? I would think that they could do a better more tedious job fitting and clearancing everything, way more than a large re-manufacturer. I sure would hope so because of the price!!!!
