I ordered my 2018 Raptor a few months ago through a local dealer, it was built about 2-weeks before I picked it up on October 9th and then I drove it across the United States from Vermont to California and back starting October 26th and ending back home around November 14th.
I put about 9,000 miles on it in 3-weeks, drove it on a few dry lake beds, went down a few trails/dirt roads, and had the time of my life. For those of you curious about MPG; I averaged about 16.9 MPG. This is the second time I have done this trip and if you've never done it, I encourage everyone to do it if you ever get the chance.
I traded my 2016 Sierra Denali 6.2L in for this truck which I had quite a few issues with and just wasnt happy with. Ive been a GM guy my entire life and this is my first Ford and I will say that Ford put together one awesome truck.
Details on my Raptor:
802A, sunroof, heated wheel, heated rear seats, orange interior, FordRaptorLights.com Baja Designs Squadron Pro light kit, stubby antenna, and Walker Evans wheels in black.
I follow a few of you on Instagram, if you're on there I go by @KillerBlackbird
Ill post a few of the truck from the trip, I wont overload you with too many landscape shots as most of the photos I took are from the southwest - everything looks like Vermont to me until you cross the Mississippi and I'm obsessed with the desert.
