They follow up with this nice email that I didn't see anyone cover in the 15 pages of this thread. ;-) I did find that when jacking from the left front frame location, that even when I raised to my jack's full extension (LF tire a few inches off the ground), that I was only at about 3° max. FWIW. ------ Thanks for your purchase of our Ronin Factory Ford Oil Drain. Just wanted to pass along a tip on how to extract the most old oil from your truck. Whether you are using our Easy Oil Drain product or the last time you'll be draining with the OEM plastic plug, getting as much of the old oil out is best. We did a quick study and found that tilting the vehicle about 5 degrees will yield the best results. More than that doesn't help much. Draining it on a level surface will be the worst case, so we don't recommend that. 5 degrees is about 9" raised on the front wheel, so if you are driving up ramps, if the ramps are about 9" tall, that is perfect. If you are using a jack with stand, you'd be likely jacking up the frame, so the wheels will droop, so you want 9" of body lift if possible. Or, you can just park on a slanted driveway. Please note some models have the drain plug facing to the rear while others have them facing towards the passenger side (Raptors). So if it's facing towards the side of the vehicle, just tilt the vehicle that direction. Be safe out there! Ronin Factory
