I did Ceramic Pro Gold on mine and my wife's X5, and I also added Kavaca paint protection film to hers. I did not do PPF on the truck because it sits higher and so far, have had no chips and have been pelted by a cement truck. it makes a HUGE difference.......... The vehicles clean up super easy, always look awesome, and I just use a blower to dry them off.... With all that said, I will do every new vehicle the same way and am hoping to get a new 911, and when I do, I will do Ceramic Gold and have it completely covered in PPF. ONE HUGE PIECE OF ADVICE....... When you get your vehicle back from being coated (assuming you do not PPF the whole thing), DO NOT DRIVE IT.... Park it in the garage for the next week and a half to 2 weeks......... Since I did both vehicles back to back and the truck first, we had to drive mine during lovebug season here in Florida. So, I had to power wash mine a few times to ensure I got the bugs off of the paint. IMO, this downgraded (damaged) the Ceramic, but I had no choice..... When I blow off the truck, it takes a lot more to get the water off, as compared with my wifes car..... So, yes... I highly recommend it, but park it in the garage for at least a week and preferably 2 before you drive it.
