I like the new grille; it is a good blend of both gens. I don't like the rigid lights and their underhang, nor do I particularly love the new bumper. Overall, new front end is good. Might like it better than the previous two gens. Back end looks ok, not great. Maybe the worst of the three? No SuperCab :( I really wonder if the Raptor R will be a V8 SCAB as a throwback. Every R to this point has been a SCAB, so it would be heresy not to have that option IMO.... Suspension seems to be consistent with historical trends - a step change, but not necessarily a large one. I'm hearing (and seeing) very mixed reports on the TRX suspension. Physics suggests to me it can't be better than a Gen 2, but until more videos come out I can't make a strong statement. Assuming it is slightly better than the Gen 2, this would mean the Gen 3's would be comfortably better, but not by a large margin. 37s as a stock option is the most interesting thing here. The myriad of woes associated with upsizing look to be a thing of the past. I reckon it is safe to assume the Gen 3 components can handle 37s even if your order the base model, which means one could run 35s daily and then switch to 37s for offroad use without worry. That is pretty significant. New exhaust definitely is doing its job.
