Hi All, After hearing the Mark Levinson system in my fiancée's new lexus, i have decided its time to rip out the crappy BO system. After countless hours of reading threads here, i would like to consolidate what i have found and get feedback for my relatively simple plan. I am attaching a wiring diagram of what i plan to do based on the the information i have gathered from here. System wise, the only things i have decided on are: Amp: JL VX 1000/5 (love the simplicity of having one unit (amp+dsp) to handle all speakers (75rms x 4 + 600 sub) Zen interface Potentially a Jl sub that will bit under the back seat (the single flip up one). Open to suggestions Have not decided on components yet- will get to that later Below is what i have gathered from all my research-

Run 4 ga power and ground from battery through smaller grommet on passenger side with distribution block in rear
Run new wires for tweeters to back
Using this harness: Speaker Connection Harness - PAC (pac-audio.com) connect the stock BO wire to the harness and then connect the harness to the ZEN
This allows Can HI/LO to the Zen and peels off the speak wire for easy connection
Power/ground Zen through distro blocks- DO NOT use stock wiring
Zen to Amp via toslink
Wires from pac harness to passive crossovers
Speaker out wires from amp to crossovers and sub
Please see diagram below- This is what i am thinking conceptually based on all of the research.. Any feed back or things that i am missing? Thank you!!
