Kit is still missing secondary 3.5 bypass shocks. Shocks should arrive in 6 weeks. I wanted to wait a few weeks to pass along some daily driving feedback on the bolt kit and to also work out any adjustments that may need to be done. All I can say so far is WOW kit runs fantastic. I was a bit concern on how kit would handle during daily commutes. So far truck handles great and no issues with turning radius that I could notice. Truck also has no issues fitting thru bank drive-thru and Fast food drive-thru that I have visited. I have not lost any of the daily uses I had previously with my truck. I also did not have to adjust the settings on my 3.0 coilovers and the ride has remained the same with the bolt kit. I did run the truck thru a few dirt roads just to let the suspension settle and no issues to report but I did not run it hard by any means. Lastly a few things I want to point out on the RPG kit. One is RPG upgraded their secondary bypass mount. Secondary bypass mount looks more secure and stout in comparing it to the previous mount. The second is the bolt kit was installed by my mechanic that had no previous experience with the RPG bolt kit. Mechanic had no issues getting the kit installed. Darin from RPG offered his cell number to pass along to my mechanic just in case he had any questions. The mechanic contacted Darin once for a quick question and Darin responded quickly. Lastly the kit requires you to change out the coil spring on the coilovers. The new coils make the truck sit a bit higher upfront. I adjusted the height setting to get it to sit as level as possible. I can’t wait to get secondary shocks to dial in the front. Up next will be front and rear bumpers.
Update on RPG Build RPG bolt kit has been installed and I have ran it for about two weeks now. Kit is still missing secondary 3.5 bypass shocks. Shocks should arrive in 6 weeks. I wanted to wait a few weeks to pass along some daily driving feedback on the bolt kit and to also work out any adjustments that may need to be done.
