The one on the left is a Recaro car seat. They don’t make a booster and actually stopped offering car seats in the USA now completely.
I couldn’t find a manual car with the active exhaust option anywhere so I just bought one locally without it. The factory exhaust sounds good enough for me...
400a
GT performance pkg
Manual
Already replaced the chrome 5.0 emblems with black
Installed a JL audio sub and amp
No other mods planned for now but a CAI and tune is tempting
Oh and a booster and full size car seat
I think the Mustang statement is the only thing off. Ironically, I just bought a 2018 Mustang GT 3 weeks ago instead of pulling the trigger on a Gen2. Mainly because we decided to sign a contract on a $66k pool, which will be much more family friendly.
If you were in a Gen1 it probably would've bent the frame, Gen 2, you're good to go.
Now I'll just sit back and :smiley-face-popcorn while the Gen1 guys berate me for my nasty insult.
I agree to an extent, but if you really want to compare apples to apples, let's put everyday vehicles into account, not the exotics harder to obtain cars you mentioned. I'll use Dodge as an example. A base model Dodge Challenger is offered with a V6 while the Hellcat is offered with a V8...
Most guys on the forum know how to look up a sticker, so if you provide a VIN in the future it may avoid the questions.
And for those that don’t know how to find a sticker using a VIN, here’s a link to use. https://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Number-Lookup/WindowSticker/Ford.html
And it will come along with Dodge’s shitty resale value, so look for the usual 20k off deals Dodge is known for rather than Ford’s ADM’s.
I couldn’t be more enthused to hear of this truck’s production. Not because I’m interested in buying it, but because there is nothing better for a consumer...
Well you know what they say, "Never buy the first year of a newly updated vehicle". Or in a lot of cases on this forum, don't buy the second year either. Wait until the third when Ford decides to finally make changes to make the truck actually feel likes it worth the $70k price tag.
I'd understand a part for a refridgerator being on backorder, but WTF is up with Ford not having items in stock. A steering gear, which I assume is the same one used in all F150 trucks. From beadlocks, to carbon fiber, to whatever else someone has talked about on this site.......It's...
Says every fat old guy in America.
Just playing!
BTW, The stockers look terrible on Leadfoot and Magnetic IMO, so great choice.
OP, Change your signature now.
Are you sure he knew you were talking about a Raptor and not a Mustang? When he said, "Would you like the V8 or V6 option?", that should've been a clue.
How often are you needing to carry/trailer it? If it's a one time transport, just get a few people, good ramps, park so your tailgate is low and don't record the loading. If it's gonna be often, just buy a good used trailer on craigslist or something.
I'm no longer discounting this rumor. That sure will piss off all you 2017-18 Gen 2 owners if this is true. Especially the ones who paid ADM's. Prices will drop like a used Dodge Ram on those 17-18 Raptors.
You said “light”! Never in my life have I observed a stop light in a “farmers field” or parking lot.
Admitting to street racing a full size truck on a public street, at your age? You must watch way too much Street Outlaws. Hope you don’t crash into an innocent family...
Thanks for the heads up. I'm not really entertaining the idea of used unless it's close to home. I'm just biting my time waiting for 2019 banks to open. I still check AutoTrader daily for anything new to pop up or prices on about 3 Scabs that would fit the bill to drop in price.
Edit: I did...
The truck he's referring to was not a CPO Raptor. I live 80 miles from the dealer he bought this truck from and was going to take a look at it myself until I spoke to the dealer over the phone and realized they wouldn't budge on the price. Yeah the truck only had 3k miles on it, but it was a...
