I've driven my gen1 across country 6 times. 4 on the stock tires and twice on BFG Mud terrain KM2s. Love it as a road trip truck. 60k miles, almost all long road trips. Can't imagine the gen2 would be too different in that regard.

Hate it. When I'm driving somewhere that might have oncoming traffic but I want to use my aux lighting I'll driven with my fingers on the switches for fast on/off as needed. What value is there having them up high except "looks cool?"

Had to fab brackets but I got two 40 inch bars. The first is great but the second doesn't add much. Currently doesn't seem worth the money and effort but I am going to experiment with the aim. Like one up and the other down. Anyone else have any thoughts on this area?

Easy driving with cruise control on the highway at 60ish and my temps hover around 200 for many many hours. That is the normal range.

I have intake, exhaust, and tune along with BFG MT KM2's (35x12.5) and run them at 15psi in the sand at Glamis. Never have any problems being among the fastest out there, with the exception of machines running paddles.

Bummer. I typically spend summers in Maine and drive the Raptor from Arizona. I stop and camp in Hoosier for cheap lodging along the way. Probably be another month or so before I'm in the area. Wish the dates lines up better.

I see where you're coming from, but as awesome as these trucks are, there is also plenty of improvement to be had. Often the manufacturer makes compromises. Even the great SVT team. If the truck was perfect no one would ever do any mods or upgrades.
