shit..... i know you have to roll it all the way down and continue holding down for 3 seconds then roll it all the way up and hold for 3 seconds. i think you have to do it a second time as well
still too late. you missed her intro thread.
as far as gas is concerned. i prefer the gas that stays a gas. if you get something solid or semi solid, you are in trouble
check for a short if you can. i dont think the light going out would cause the bcm fault. mine have been dead for years. it could be the bcm, but those hardly ever fail
yes, the drivers switch is the gateway to the bcm. if you hear noises from the dash, its most likely the parking light relay. there is no mechanical noises from the door lock system thats under there. also could be a bcm, but thats rare and i have seen a lot more switches fail than bcm.
just leave that module accessible. pac has gone downhill in quality. i have replaced so many of their data modules, i have lost count. when that module goes out, you dont want to have to take apart the truck to get to it. we call a pac module a crap module.
5 months to be exact. she broke it in nevada back in october. but we onoy drove it 5 or 6 times. we have our beater cars we commute in. she has an 05 outback so the awd lets her drive in the snow. i got my crappy 01 civic but being a former drifter and rally driver, i dont mind sledding the car...
i did something similiar today. tirina fell getting into the truck a couple months ago and broke off her turn signal stalk when she tried to put her hand on the steering wheel to brace herself. had to replace it today
