Congrats! Rapid Red really is my favorite color for the Gen 3. It looks even better now that the 23' year model 37 package inherits the black wheels from the R over the grey color that came with 21' and 22' 37 package.
Even cooler story w the happy ending after initial truck came in damaged.
For me, this ended up being me leaving the zone lighting powered "On" with all of the lights set to off. After I turned it off and recharged, I haven't had any issue at all. I'd make sure when you click zone lighting that the trucks shows it as powered off.
I do plenty of work on the 79' Broncos I rebuild. To pay $90, for someone to install a $3,000 cover was more than worth it to me, but to each their own. They install these a lot, and they aren't as easy as one would think to install. If any warranty work was ever needed to be done, they would...
Looks like a waste of money to me. But when you're loaded, who cares about money.
I'm glad the op did this so I didn't have to regret doing this to my truck.
Nice Rig! I admittedly was set on this exact setup when first researching. I thought, why the hell wouldn't everyone want electric other than where a dead battery is a concern. However after talking to 15+ truck accessory shop they all said the same thing. It's not if they will have problems...
I believe the margins are very low on these covers. Real truck would offer 5% if I had bought all of the Yakima accessories, but with that small of a discount I'd rather my Line-X deal make the profit and let them stand by their install.
Went to look at some Yakima gear yesterday. It's super cool how modular everything is, I really would like to get the HD Overhaul and Roam Tent setup.
The Yakima Jetstream bars are best for everyday use to connect your bike, cargo basket, etc. Where I find the Yakima Overhaul beneficial is for...
From a guy who has typed a lot this week, you certainly type like you are broke. Good lord man, coming in as opinionated as you I'd make sure two have mye speling togedder.
Yeah I actually paint corrected, PPF'd, and graphene coating. I'd say you should have looked into PPF, but since you already coated it you missed your shot.
Howdy y'all,
I spent some time researching bed covers in depth, and ultimately landed on the American Roll Cover by Truck Covers USA. I've never had a cover on my past trucks, so this was something a bit new to me. I was pretty surprised at how many damn options there are and that 95% are made...
