    40k Mile Regular Maintenance Suggestions

I would check the plugs for condition. I did mine at 60K miles just as a preventative measure. It sounds like these engines are pretty hard on plugs.

For those of you with recent Gen2 purchases

That seems to be happening somewhat, but with specialty vehicles like the Raptor they tend to stay fairly steady despite external forces.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Popped in new 1 step colder plugs, changed oil, added a JLT Catch Can. This was the first oil change I've done on the truck since I've owned it (about 6 months) and it was pretty insane how much dirt/mud got built up under the skid plate and front of the engine bay. Hopefully, once it warms up...

    2020 Performance Chip

The fact that they are calling it a "chip" should be the first red flag.

    Is Cobb TCM worth it?

Echoing what others have said here, but Cobb definitely has a great product. I've been using Cobb for years in my GTR and it's a great platform...with the caveat being you work with a tuner to develop a tune specific to your car. I think what a lot of people don't understand is that whenever...

Folks running a Cobb AccessPort and have it displaying gauges realtime

I typically have the Knock counter, oil temp, water temp, IAT, Boost, and trans temp. I'm mostly concerned with fluid and air temps with this engine as these Ecoboost engines seem to run really hot. I'm still working on an IC and a lower temp thermostat...but for now these are my metrics.

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that playing chemist at the pump really isn't worth the effort or the possible miscalculation. I hope at some point there is a flex fuel solution available with Cobb so you can just pump and go. Maybe Goosetuned has some insight on this? I had a...

What California's New ECU Law Means for Tuned Cars

Nope, definitely not the case. I'll have to find the link but the BAR "suggests" keeping the factory software for smog inspections, so they know people will be doing it. As long as the CalID and the CVN are in the database and your monitors are set you're good. Interestingly, Cobb's OTS maps...

Refreshing red stripe on steering wheel

$400 for a wheel seems like the no-brainer option. My wheel leather is as shiny as the paint and the red stripe has seen better days. I tried cleaners and other light solvents to clean it...but at this point the coating on the leather is long gone and it will just get worse over time. Start...

Vehicle warranty vs. Mods, should I be concerned?

Having spent some time being an SA, I can tell you that the dealer doesn't have final say on whether or not a part is covered...even when stock. However, the dealer is interested in keeping a high standing with the manufacturer in terms of warranty claims because there are repercussions to...
